Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Loma Linda Sunrooms & Patios website and any estimate, agreement or work you get from us. By using our website, asking for an estimate or hiring us, you agree to them.

If you sign a written contract with us for a project, that contract controls wherever it differs from these terms. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us.

What we do

Loma Linda Sunrooms & Patios is a sunroom contractor in Loma Linda, CA. We design and build sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms and patio covers, and we remodel existing rooms for homeowners in Loma Linda and the cities around it. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

The information on this site is general. It describes our work and explains the trade, but it isn't a quote, a design or advice for your particular house. What we'll build for you, and how, is set out in your written estimate and contract.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on that visit, the room you choose, and material prices at the time, so it stays good only for the period written on it.

Some conditions only show up once the job is open, like damaged framing, a slab or footing that can't carry the new room, or wiring that has to be brought up to standard. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you, and give you the added cost in writing before we go further. We don't do extra work or charge for it without your written approval.

Scheduling and cancellation

Start and finish dates we give you are our best targets, not guarantees. Weather, material and glass deliveries, inspections, and conditions we find on site can move them, and we'll keep you posted when they do.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (909) 515-5048 or reach us through our contact page as early as you can. Cancellation terms, including any charge for materials ordered or built to fit your house, are stated in your written agreement, along with any cancellation rights California law gives you.

Payment terms

The total price, any deposit and the payment schedule are written in your contract before work begins. We don't ask for payment on terms that aren't in that agreement.

Final payment is due when the work in the contract is complete, unless the contract says otherwise. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid, and any late charges will be only those your contract states and the law allows.

Your part of the job

We need clear, safe access to the work area, and a place for materials while the job is underway. You're responsible for telling us about property lines, easements, buried lines, sprinklers or anything else on your lot we should know about, and for getting any approval your homeowners association requires.

Many sunroom and patio projects need a permit and inspections from your city. Who applies for the permit and pays its fees is written in your agreement, and no work that needs a permit should start until it's issued.

Warranties and disclaimers

Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written in your contract, for the length of time and on the terms stated there. Windows, glass, roof panels, doors and other products carry their maker's own warranty, and those makers, not us, decide what it covers. Following the maker's care instructions is usually a condition of keeping that coverage.

Apart from what's written in your contract, and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied. The website and its content are provided as they are, and we don't promise the site will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Loma Linda Sunrooms & Patios isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or lost income, that come from using this website or from our work. Our total liability on any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

We're fully licensed and insured. Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law doesn't allow a business to limit.

Settling a disagreement

If something isn't right, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest when you show us on site. We'll look at it with you and try in good faith to resolve it.

If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation before going to court, unless your contract sets a different process. Any lawsuit will be filed in the state or federal courts that serve San Bernardino County, California.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't alter a contract you've already signed with us unless we both agree in writing.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, call us at (909) 515-5048 or send us a note through our contact page. We're happy to walk you through it before you sign anything.
